We have just finished updating our new OSMC Store in advance of the new Vero 2 launch.
Earlier this Summer, we made our popular Vero remote controller available to Raspberry Pi users. Since then, we’ve redesigned the remote for the upcoming Vero 2.
Here’s what’s new:
- New look — the remote is now in black
- New RF design — we’ve moved from infrared to RF based communication to eliminate line of sight issues and increase range.
- USB receiver — the new remote is now connected via USB, instead of GPIO. This makes the new remote compatible with other devices that run Kodi as well (such as PC).
- New price — we’re now able to sell the OSMC remote at a more affordable price due to increased volume.
